Get Involved with the IOCDF

There are a variety of ways you can get involved with the International OCD Foundation and advocate for the larger OCD community.

Contact Local Media

You can make a difference by spreading the word to your local media about the Anxiety in the Classroom resource. We've created a one-stop Media Center for our advocates to use to make emailing local media as simple as possible. The Media Center has pre-written (and customizable!) emails for you to use along with a full directory of media in your area — all you have to do is enter your zip code!

Become a Grassroots Advocate

We get many requests from members of the OCD community who want to know what they can do to help. Whether it means joining the #OCDWalk each year, speaking at a local Affiliate event, or even blogging about your experiences, being a Grassroots Advocate means joining a community of people who want to raise awareness and educate the public about OCD and related disorders. Become a Grassroots Advocate today!

Attend an IOCDF Event

Events such as our Annual OCD Conference, Online OCD Camp, One Million Steps for OCD Walk, and OCD Awareness Week are great opportunities to learn about OCD. You also join a close-knit community of those with OCD, their family members, and mental health professionals. Learn more about IOCDF events.

Make a Donation

The International OCD Foundation is supported entirely through the generosity of individual donors. Therefore, every gift made to the IOCDF makes a difference. No matter how large or small, the collective generosity of our donors makes a huge impact. Make a tax-deductible gift today!
